Smart Film (Switchable Privacy Film) – Introduction

Smart Film, also known as Switchable Privacy Film or PDLC Film, is an advanced glass technology that allows glass surfaces to instantly switch between transparent (clear) and opaque (frosted) with the touch of a switch, remote control, or smart system.

At its core, smart film uses Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal (PDLC) technology.

• Power ON → liquid crystals align → glass becomes clear

• Power OFF → liquid crystals scatter → glass becomes opaque
